Yes — if I built your site, I set it up so you can update rates, swap photos, and change text without technical knowledge. The maintenance retainer covers the technical background work (updates, backups, monitoring), not day-to-day content changes that you can do yourself.
What if something breaks?
If something breaks while you're on a maintenance retainer, I fix it as a priority — same day for anything that takes the site offline, within 24 hours for everything else. This is the main peace-of-mind benefit of the retainer: you have someone you can call when something goes wrong.
Do you monitor it 24/7?
Yes — I use uptime monitoring tools that alert me if your site goes offline. You won't have to discover it yourself when a client tells you they couldn't reach your site.
